Memberpress – Woocommerce

The MemberPress WooCommerce Plus plugin combines the powerful functions of both MemberPress and WooCommerce to allow you to sell MemberPress memberships through the WooCommerce platform.

With WooCommerce, you can sell memberships just like any other online product. This makes it easier for customers to purchase multiple membership products or subscriptions at one time.

Adding MemberPress WooCommerce Plus to your MemberPress site also gives you the ability to assign membership levels, pay-per-posts, and pay-per-view content to members after they have made a purchase through WooCommerce.

1 – For Selling Local Memberships – When WooCommerce & MemberPress are installed on the EXACT same domain and WordPress installation. You will need MemberPress WooCommerce Plus plugin only

2 – For Selling External Memberships – When WooCommerce & MemberPress are installed on SEPARATE domains and different WordPress installations. You will need to also purchase the External Membership Sites Add-Ons Bundle

Please note: The purpose of MemberPress WooCommerce Plus plugin is NOT to protect WooCommerce products to be visible by members only, but to sell access to MemberPress memberships while enjoying the advantages of the WooCommerce Platform, as you can read right below.

MemberPress WooCommerce Plus Extra Features:

These settings can be found in the Settings tab of the plugin:

• Custom Redirection Page – Redirect members to any page you like after they complete the purchase (instead of the regular WooCommerce redirection which is the “Order received” page)
• Redirect Only Orders with Membership Products – Select if you want to redirect only orders that include MemberPress memberships. If set to Yes, all other WooCommerce orders will be redirected to the regular Order receipt page. If set to No, all orders will be redirected to the custom redirection page.
• Add to MemberPress Membership Based on WooCommerce Order Status – Decide when your customers will be added to the MemberPress membership according to the WooCommerce order status. You can choose to add the member only when the WooCommerce order is marked as “Completed” or when the order is “Processing”.
• Mark Order as Completed – Select if you want any WooCommerce product that includes MemberPress membership/s to be marked as “Completed” or leave the WooCommerce original settings. WooCommerce sets orders as Processing or Completed depending on the type of product. You can exclude one or more products by going to the products itself within WooCommerce and check the “Prevent Order Status Change” box).
